Bill for years I was involved in what was called Belly To Belly

Marketing  now at 73 my hobby is watching what the Kids at Starbuck’s

call Social Media  I added your blog because it is easy for me to see

you and a few others understand the difference between advertising and

marketing- marketing is still in my mind creating a desire and it is a

combination of Understanding semantics general semantics and math- the

beauty of Google is they took  information that was basically free and

built it into a beautiful mathematical model that works-and branded in

a few years -respectfully Marshal

I’m very thankful for your words.  We have some common perspectives on
marketing, and on Google.

I’m fascinated by what the people at Google are doing, and I guess that
shows in what I write about them.   My educational background is in English
and Law, but I teaching myself as much of the math as I can behind search
and search engines to see more of that model that you describe.

I grew up watching my father build strong relationships with clients, with
competitors, with vendors, and the most important things about marketing
and business were the things I learned from him.  I don’t know if he would
call what he did belly to belly marketing, but in many ways it was.
